My name is Carrie and I provide childcare for babies/children

in a happy, relaxed and friendly home in Downend, BS16

(close to Mangotsfield, Staple Hill,Fishponds, Emersons Green).

I enjoy working with children and accepting them into our

home and aim to make them feel part of the family.  I am

married to Pete who is a Company Director and we have two l

ovely children, a boy of 9 and a girl of 7 years.  

 

I am OFSTED registered, CRB checked, have a paediatric first

aid certificate and an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.  I  received

a “Good” Ofsted rating and the maximum 5 stars for food

preparation and hygiene.

 

I work closely with parents to provide the best possible care

for the children, which includes:-

● Monday to Thursday plus occasional weekend care;

● all year round including school holidays;

● Nursery Education Grant fees/vouchers for 3/4 year

   olds and general childcare vouchers for all ages;

● competitive rates (see Fees) to include meals, drinks &

   outings;

● holiday care for school-aged children.

 

"Carrie has a warm, friendly and very caring personality which is why she works so well as a childminder, my children  (2 & 6 years) both adore her, and I cannot fault her in any way. Carrie does the very best for all children in her care and every child is happy for they are in a homely, safe and caring environment. I would recommend Carrie as you will not find a nicer Lady. Carrie makes sure that every child is involved in activities, which is good in preparing them for school as well as building up their confidence; the children are always busy whether its crafts, or trips out to soft play and parks. She ensures the children have home- cooked healthy food, is always very helpful in every way, is a good time keeper and will never let you down.
